Application Specialist Certifications consists of five different modules that can be taught and certified individually.
Certification Modules
1- General requirements
2- Wire Prep and Terminals
3- PWA - Soldering & Assembly
4- Basic SMT soldering
5- Inspection Criteria of J-STD-001
Each Module is 8 hours, which is certified through IPC individually depending on your needs. For example if your company only manufactured SMT assemblies, your certification program would be Module 1 and Module 4 etc. Your can certify to all (Wiring, PWA, SMT and Inspection) or one (Wiring or PWA or SMT or Inspection)
